We''ve implimented a Customer Referal Rewards program! Kinda like the credit card companies have but minus the long waiting and obvious ripoffs.
The Basics of it are you gain points for EVERY dollar you spend on products(doesn't include S&H or tax; only product purchase prices. You also get DOUBLE points for The entire first purchase of someone you refer. You get 1 point for every eligable dollar you spend and 2pts/eligable dollar for someone you refer's first purchase. After you've acumulated ONLY 20 points you get a 1 dollar Credit that you can use whenever you want towards the total purchase price(including shipping). Want an example? Sure!
Lets say you buy a Chainmailled Teddy bear, You will get 20 points which entitle you to 1.00$ off a future purchase. You then tell your friend about the site and they put into thier comment field that you refered them when they buy a Santa Hat. Not ONLY do THEY get 80pts for thier purchase, but YOU get 160 points for thier purchase! Thats 8.00$ off that you can apply towards a future purchase. Using this system you can get items completely FREE strickly by refering people!!
Why are we doing this? Well... We've had a LOT of people say they REALLY like some of our products, but because of the economy and or other factors, they just dont have the money for it. We think everyone should be able to enjoy this artform and THIS program gives you a way to do it.
We've bounced the idea off a few people and the main concern they shared that we seem to face is... can we really afford to do this? Can we really afford to keep giving away free stuff? The answer?
How you get credit for the points is to make sure to tell the person to include the E-mail you used to sign up to the site in the comment field of thier order. We will keep track of everyones points and who said who refered them. You may only state this once. If the person forgot to say who did it, they may email us and let us know but that wil be handled on a case by case basis. Points will be deposited into customers accounts after payment is recieved.
..We honestly don't know.. and we won't know till we give it a try... right? But here's the thing.. Even if we end up stopping this program in the future because it turns out to just be completely unfeaseable. ALL points and reward credits will be honored. And knowing us, we'll probly warn you in advance so that you can get in a last few points to use on something you want. No credits will be lost, ever. We're also planning on putting up a simi buisnesscard template here, so you can print out your own cards, write your email on it and pass them out to people you know to get extra points. :-D
